Established in 1961 by Ken Monnin, Dayton Door Sales has grown from its modest beginnings to become the region’s most recognized door experts. Ken molded Dayton Door Sales into arguably one of the most professional door companies in the industry, culminating with his Presidency of the national industry association, The Door & Operator Dealer’s Association (DODA), in 1990.
This organization is now known as The International Door Association (IDA). Dayton Door Sales strongly believes in this industry association and subscribes to its “code of conduct” of sound business practices, as well as other programs, including the certification of installers by the education arm of IDA which is IDEA – Institute of Door Dealer Education & Accreditation.
